1. The annual golf tournament has been held the last two years at the beautiful Oceanside Country Club in Ormond Beach, Fl. Approximately 80 golfers each year have enjoyed a great day of golf. The events have raised approximately $34,000 in the two years. Next year’s event is tentatively scheduled for April 25, 2011.

2. The Phantom Ball is an annual event sponsored by the Parents, Guardians, & Friends Assoc. The fundraiser runs from May1 to July 31 and has been moved this year so as to not conflict with other fundraising efforts. The proceeds from last year’s efforts have gone for much needed infrastructure improvements and repairs. Specifically, a new very large commercial washer for the laundry and repairs to vital kitchen equipment. We are very appreciative of our Associations long term and continued support.

3. We will celebrate our 65th year of operation with a large “Garden Party” on September 10. We are planning food, music, games and other activities for our friends, patrons and community. More details will follow.

4. The 2nd “Drawdown” will be held on November 5. The “Drawdown” is a reverse raffle with a guaranteed prize of $10,000. Last year’s event raised over $12,000 for the home. Again, more details will follow.
