The Duvall Home receives a $1,000.00 gift

96 Year-Old Grace Jones and her family represent the Deltona Presbyterian Church with a $1,000.00 gift to the Duvall Home.
Lorna and Carl Sande, their dog Buttons and Lorna's 96 year-old mother Grace Jones stopped by the Duvall Home on Wednesday August 31, 2011 to drop off some clothing, arts and crafts items and a check for $1,000.00.
Grace is 96 years old and has been helping to support the Duvall Home now for over 30 years. Her legacy to her daughter Lorna is to pass along this mission.
The items they donated will be dispersed to residents living in the group homes and what they do not use will go to the Duvall Home's Thrift Shop located at 642 West New York Ave, DeLand. The $1,000.00 gift was a contribution via pledges and offerings from the congregation of Deltona Presbyterian Church and will be used towards the purchase the new air conditioner for McGaffin Hall.
Deltona Presbyterian Church, located at 2300 Howland Blvd. Deltona, has been a long-time supporter of the mission of the Duvall Home.
